We usually make these cute keepsake jars for Easter gifts but didn’t have the opportunity this year due the school closure. They always turn out so nice!!
Materials Needed :
A clean jar, bright coloured tissue paper, scissors, white glue, water, paint brush, white acrylic paint.
Here is how to create a handprint jar:
1- Choose one colour of tissue paper and cut into smaller squares (see photo below).
2-Mix white glue with a tiny amount of water to create a runnier paste. Stick your tissue squares on the jar by painting the mixer all over each square (until each square is wet with glue). Cover entire jar with tissue paper squares.
3- Wait for jar to dry (usually we leave them overnight). Add your child’s cute handprint with white acrylic paint.
4- Fill your vase with your mom’s favourite fresh flowers!
Happy Mother’s Day!
