Loose Parts Play
This week we are encouraging our “Learning at Home” families to create Loose Parts Collections. We have planned some playful math lessons that incorporate the Loose Parts they find around their house!
Loose parts are everyday items found around the house or in nature.
Loose Parts are open-ended materials that allow the child to use imagination and creativity to their play. Loose parts possess infinite play possibilities. They offer multiple rather than single outcomes.
