A simple paper with dots can provide so many different learning opportunities!
I was really missing my grid paper from school. We use grids for so many different activities so I needed to create my own to use at home and for our “learning at home” plans.
Some ideas to suggest when presenting dot paper to children:
-Do you see any numbers? How can you show them to me?
-Do you see any shapes?
-I wonder if we could create a game on this type of paper?
-What can you create using this paper?
-Roll a dice and record your number. How many rolls will it take to fill the page?
OR just hand them some dot paper and say go crazy! You will be amazed with what kids can come up with.
